The BTCC team that ran drugs

42 560 Näkymät

The world of motor racing is not short of people willing to bend the law to stay in the sport. In this video, we look into the British Touring Car team that were running drugs out of Holland to put their cars on the grid.
This video is not intended for persons 13 years or under. Special mention to all the original sources of certain clips used in my videos. Please do check out their content for the full videos.

  • I believe that UK Customs may still use one of the team transporters for when they go to shows with some of the stuff they've confiscated over the years. I last saw it a few years back with a couple of large folding tables next to it with elephant leg umbrella stands, bones, croc heads and all sorts of other things. Under it all, covering both tables and rolling up onto the floor at both ends was a snakes skin.

  • Hi. I like your videos. The sequence where a boat sails through a canal, spouse to be in Holland/Netherlands, are Nyhavn, Copenhagen, Denmark. I should know, I live in Denmark. It will make your videos more credible with all facts in place. I would be the same if I placed Waitemata Harbour in Australia. When it actually is in New Zealand.

    • NASCAR didn't really become a thing until after prohibition. The former moonshiners had these modified cars that they weren't using anymore and wanted to race them. End of story

    • Tetragon 213 The story of prohibition bootlegging only remained true for *some* 1940s & 1950s Nascar teams, some cars & drivers, *Petty family, Fireball Roberts, Earnhardt family, Marshall Teague, & The France family were not bootleggers* ! But the whole sports' origins in summary is just "Indycar with modified road cars" Or "what if Indycar only used lightly modified road cars Or "Indy 500 *junkyard formula* done properly"

      MainMite06MainMite067 kuukautta sitten

  • Hey Josh, you may or may not be aware of Jayant Singh who robbed ATM security guards here in NZ (Wellington to be precise) to fund his Toyota Racing Series career. A great shame as he seemed like a nice lad who was driven (pardon the pun) to desperation. On his day he could peddle a race car rather well. I remember seeing him giving much newer “Stealth” Van Diemen Formula Fords a run for their money when he was running a non-stealth machine (the Stealth modifications made a big difference).

    • Except the totally un-called-for dig at white people with the racist "white privilege" comment that was just totally unnecessary and just provides more made up fodder that liberals can use to excuse the discrimination and inequality that they preach. Claiming that "white privlege" is a thing allows liberals to give preferential treatment to black people thus creating the same discrimination that they claim they are trying to eradicate.
